NEVA 2017 PARTICIPATION REPORT
26.10.2017
September 22 became the final day of an international maritime exhibition and conference, NEVA 2017. Once again, the event was about civil shipbuilding, navigation, port industry, and offshore development.
For complete 4 days, more than 600 stands, installed in a modern exhibition center, Expoforum, had been demonstrating various equipment by Russian and foreign companies, leaders of ship building and repair industries, transport, logistics, and related fields.
Despite current political situation, companies of more than 30 countries took part in the exhibition, including Germany, France, Netherlands, Norway, Great Britain, the USA, South Korea, China, etc. This proves high status and worldwide popularity of the NEVA maritime forum.

Kronstadt Engineering Company is a traditional participant of the exhibition with a goal to introduce its equipment and services to the public and take part in discussion of topical issues in ship construction industry while meeting new business partners, strengthening its present ties, and sharing experience.
This year was no exception. In contrast to the other suppliers, Kronstadt's stand displayed a lot of specimens the visitors could study and even operate some of them.
The most fascinating item at the stand was an FL-series shipboard hydraulic crane with a telescopic boom by MELCAL, drawing attention of visitors and experts with its small dimensions in-stow.
An interactive stand displaying a water jet by HamiltonJet was popular not only with industry professionals, but with general public as well. Everyone could feel as if steering a high-speed boat equipped with these modern technologically advanced water jets.
Shipboard searchlight by COLORLIGHT raised a true interest thanks to its infrared camera, which transmits the image to any display real time.
Visitors looking for efficient waste-handling equipment could watch a waste compactor by DELITEK in action. Its inbox was regularly filled with paper and plastic garbage to demonstrate the equipment capacity to everybody.
Many other shipboard and port equipment specimens were displayed at the stand along with promotional and technical booklets.
Original design and arrangement of the Kronstadt's stand got noticed not only by simple visitors of the exhibition but also by its professional participants such as reporters of the KORABEL magazine, who made some positive remarks about that in their article about the event.
Kronstadt Engineering Company would like to thank employees of Transtec Neva Exhibitions JSC and ExpoForum International LLC for excellent organization of NEVA 2017 and wishes good luck with preparing the next exhibition in 2019, which Kronstadt will definitely take part in!
