FIRE PUMPING STATION RECONSTRUCTION AT HEINZ FACTORY COMPLETED

Specialists of Kronstadt Engineering Company have carried out installation and commissioning of Aurora Pumps equipment under the reconstruction of fire pumping station at the production facilities of Heinz Georgievsk LLC.

The factory is a well-known in Russia manufacturer of low-allergy porridges, fruit mushes, child cookies, and other food products for consumers under 3 years old.

As per the customer's terms of reference, our specialists selected and supplied equipment for a most common type of fire pumping station, a unit with two pumps - main and backup. A pump by Aurora, used as the main one, is equipped with an electric drive, while the backup pump is driven by a diesel engine in case of emergency power shutdown.

Each of the pumps supplied has capacity of up to 454 m³/h and head of up to 80 m. Two independent circuits of control automation secure failsafe system operation under any circumstances.

It stands to mention that this is not the first time Heinz Corporation and Kronstadt Engineering Company have cooperated. For instance, in 2015 our company supplied and commissioned fire pumps at the Heinz factory in Otradnoye (Leningrad Oblast).
