The supply includes dirty oil pumps as part of the oily water separation system, as well as cooling pumps for heat exchangers. All equipment comes with spares and accessories and has been duly certified in the Russian Maritime Registry of Shipping.
These pumps are used in the engineering systems of the Ladoga vessel project 11982 designed by the Central marine bureau Almaz under an order from the Chief office for deep-water research, which reports to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The main function of the 11982 project vessels is to carry out scientific and oceanographic research, as well as to take part in search-and-rescue missions. The first-in-class ship of this project is Seliger, which has been operating successfully in the Black Sea fleet since 2012.
Ladoga is the second vessel of the 11982 project. It was launched on July 29th 2016, and is currently being fitted with necessary equipment along with the third ship of the project, Ilmen, that launched in December 2017.
